HollowClan
Into the forest I go to lose my mind and find my soul
Named after its founder, HollowClan is a group of mystery, complexity, and deeply rooted secrets. Living in the abundant expanse of forestry on the lands of this world, they are quite adept at climbing trees, camoflauging themselves in the undergrowth and canopies, and catching their prey by surprise via an airdrop attack. With their camp residing in the hollow of the forest, they sleep at the base of the trees surrounding their camp, burrows dug into the roots and within each tree. Only when the sun is high and shines through a hole in the canopy, creating a sphere in the clearing of the camp, are meetings held.

Long ago, before the idea of the clans was brought into being, there was the caravan: a group of felines who hadn't a home, but made do as long as they had one another. They lived in peace, nomadic hunters and gatherers that lived off the land and gave thanks for their blessings to the sun god and moon goddess. Of these felines, one existed that adored their way of life, though longed for power of his own. Hollow was an ambitious tom that held barely any presence; what he lacked in brute strength and leadership, however, he made up for in his wit and fast-thinking. Gifted with a silver tongue, he spun webs through his whispers in the ears of his comrades until a mutiny broke out – those who fought to keep the caravan together and those who followed Hollow. In the end, a tentative truce was made. Hollow and his followers would leave the caravan and find their own way, but should they discover nothing but woe on their chosen path, they would not have the caravan's blessing to return. Knowing it was a one-way road, Hollow agreed to the terms and left with his followers toward the woods.
HollowClan's physiognomy has, as expected, evolved to better camoflauge them in their natural world. So as to better help them with hunting and defense, their pelts often range from browns to grays to gingers, even blacks. White, however, is a rather rare hue among the member base, as it can serve as a beacon to enemies and reveal their presence to their prey... particularly if said prey is of the feline variety.

Patterns can range anywhere from tabby to calico to tortoiseshell and in between. Patches of white are acceptable among the ranks of HollowClan, as it can easily camoflauge as patches of sunlight.

Eye colors, however, range in the natural greens, ambers, yellows, blues and browns.
Though they had at one time followed the idea of a god and goddess – the sun, radiating masculine energy, offering life and warmth to the world; the moon, symbolizing feminine energy, giving her silver glow and comfort to the creatures of the night – this changed upon Hollow's total rule after the exile from the caravan. Believing he wouldn't be respected if he didn't display true power, he told tales of his ancestors in the skies, looking down on members of his clan from the stars. It was both a comfort and a threat. His tale was spun against him, however, and became what HollowClan believes today: it isn't just Hollow and his ancestors who watch over them from the skies, but all of their ancestors. With that knowledge, they knew they were never truly alone, and that was true comfort.
